Stormy Seas at Leenan Head

from €45.00

Stormy Seas at Leenan Head

Donegal seascape in watercolour, as the storm passes, you often spot that glimmer of blue skies promising calmer weather. The vibrancy of Watercolour was used to catch the power of the waves.

The bay is wide open to the west, exposing it to the prevailing westerly winds and to the swell which sometimes crashes into Leenan Head cliffs.

I think I have a love affair with this spot, I can be found here staring at the wave patterns most evenings. After a storm I get to enjoy wading through the sea foam left behind.

The Wild Atlantic way is well named around the Inishowen coast.
